Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome purchase!!! I absolutely love this screen. It serves every purpose that I bought it for. My dogs love the freedom of going out on the deck for a suntan and I love the fact that I can go in and out with ease and bugs stay out!! This is one of the best items that I have ever purchased. Rated 5 out of 5 by Really handy for pets This screen has been so helpful with keeping bugs out but letting pets in and out. My dog is huge, but doesn't take the screen down, thanks to the magnets. September 1, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by a helpful buy Keeps the bugs out and was easy to put up. Needs a little help to close. Can't just walk through and have it back in place. August 31, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Durable and Stylish Best on line purchase ever. Holds well and dog can get in and out! August 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solved that cat access problem! I purchased the Instant Screen to solve the problem of a back door that had no screen, and that the cats like to use to come and go during the summer days. I hate bugs, but especially flies, so leaving the door open was not in my best interest, even while cats crying to come and go could be annoying. The Instant Screen went up as easily as advertised. The Velcro fasteners for the door frame attached quickly and securely. The fabric is heavy and is well sized for the door. The cats - even a 5# kitten I would rather not be able to - can open the bottom magnet to come and go freely. I would prefer three slightly smaller magnets instead of two larger ones, and do find that humans going through the screen need to reach back and encourage the center located magnet to click closed. If I still had teenagers at home I might find that problematic. An unexpected drawback is that our very brave, very large dog is afraid of the screen. It has taken a couple weeks to get him to walk through it if someone holds it wide open. This does mean it keeps him in the kitchen, but I confess I almost took it down and sent it back because of this, as this is the door that is his usual access to his run. That 5# kitten though - he breezes right through! All in all, it has been an excellent purchase, and a good solution for a door not appropriate for a full screen door with pet-door adjustments. I'm confused by the picture ... it look like it installs inside so how would one actually close the regular door? Thanks!

Answer:
You install it by running an expandable rod through loops at the top of the curtain and adjusting it to fit the top of your door frame.

Answer:
It would depend on how much light comes through on the side of your house you will be using it on. The screen is pretty dark so if it's going to be used in an area that is shaded you might not be able to see out it very well.

Do you custom cut bug off screens to fit oversized doors? If not, can you refer me to someone who does. This seems like the ideal solution, just too short for my needs.

This question pertains to the screen for french door. How wide is the diameter of the tension rod the screen hangs on. I'm not sure I have enough clearance.

Answer:
I have french doors and that is where I put the screen. The tension rod adjusts. My width of the doorway I used is 33 1/2". The tension rod starts as a 22" rod. All you do is twist one end to adjust the rod to be longer. Hope this helps!

Answer:
The rod is a 1/2" in diameter however, this installs in front of the door on the inside (so the door opens away from the screen)of the door frame.

We have sold this product for over 5 years and I have never had a complaint that this screen falls apart. I have always had really positive feed back. We have a lifetime satisfaction guarantee so if you find that the Velcro comes off right away we would be more than happy to send you a return label to return the unit for a refund or exchange.
