Rated 5 out of 5 by Inspiring and Beautiful You will not be disappointed -- they are more beautiful in person because the underlying fabric really creates a beautiful image. I love them! October 27, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Depth Beyond Compare I never take time to review anything, but felt compelled to write on on this. The Quality as far as being TRULY WONDERFUL completely hand manufactured. It apparent.. I love that! When you first receive and open the box, its so unique, you stare at it somewhat in Awww... kinda not sure... Once placed on the wall. WOW!!! I decided to let them stay for the night, they are staying for ever!!! I also like that this is made of a finer made hand silk buddha, not amateur. It has the look of 5 times what I paid. ( or possibly more with the story behind it... ) There are a few quirky things to point out if you are also purchasing this... Someone hand touched it up on the frame in a few places... at the factory... You cant really see it... HINT: I used a little rubbing alcohol and it blended perfectly! It truly is unbelievable Kimono fabric, when its positioned in the house each Buddha has its own life with the embossing shining thru. August 17, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely & Soothing Accent to Home I initially bought these for a long corridor in our home, but upon receiving them, I thought they were so lovely that I hung them in my living room. The light streaming in through the windows at different times of the day causes the screen images to change in a lovely way. I've received numerous compliments on them. July 19, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not What I Expected I received this product last week and found it to be poor quality, poorly packed and shipped, and the frames were also scrapped and damaged. I am sending it back and disappointed in this order. I have ordered home items from Gaiam before and expected a better experience. September 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Buddha Prints If you are looking for something inexpensive that won't be looked at up close, then this is the purchase for you. The silkscreen is done in a mediocre quality of fabric, and has many imperfections. I was very disappointed with the scratches on the frames upon delivery, and the way the print shifts up and down when you are hanging it due to it not being securely attached to the frame. I have these prints hanging in my low lit bedroom, which hides all of these flaws. I would purchase for my use again, but would not recommend to someone for purchase. First order w/ Gaiam...not to impressed. November 14, 2011

Answer:
The Buddha Silkscreen Print Set is not covered with glass or acrylic. This print is naturally sustainable because it is a silkscreen work onto a piece of wood.

Answer:
This is imagery of a sitting Buddha statue of Siddhartha Gautama.

The Buddha has a protruding head, symbolizing the disconnection between the mind and body, known as Bodhisattva.

The dot between the eyes represents vision and Enlightenment.
