Rated 5 out of 5 by great workout i have had back problems for 30 years. i bought this dvd at half-price books because there weren't any others available. i did the workouts in order. workouts 5 and 6 are the toughest, i think. they're really effective and after about a month, my back pain disappeared. i cannot explain why; i just know that i'm in the best shape of my life and my back doesn't work. i supplement with walking, and i feel great. highly recommend. Rated 4 out of 5 Like a having a personal trainer I highly recommend this video. The strength training instructions are clear, easy to follow and well-paced. Another thing I appreciated about this video are the models chosen to demonstrate the moves - they are women who have healthy women's bodies rather than the super-thin, Barbie-doll type. If you wish you could afford the fees or the time with a personal trainer, you'll like this video as its just like having one in your home. Easy for a beginner but you can add weight to the workouts to make it more advanced. April 2, 2010

I have been working out (running, pilates, weights, spinning, boot camp classes) for more than 15+ years, so my biggest worry was that it was going to be whimpy. Hardly! One thing that really frustrates me about all workout DVD's I have purchased is the insistence of having so many "advertisements" before the DVD begins without the ability to skip to the menu. I want to workout, not have to stand there and fast forward for 5 minutes. As for this DVD, I find it is pretty good for toning with weights, but at the end of the session, I don't feel like I finished a workout. If you supplement the workout with 20-30 minutes of cardio, I think you could get pretty good results. February 17, 2010

Hi, my name is Kathy...I am 55 years old. This past summer I exercised and lost 40 pounds. In july I woke one morning with terrible back pain. An MRI showed I have spinal stenosis. I have managed to keep pounds off, but my body really needs toning again, not liking what I am seeing. I am receiving treatment for my lower back pain, spinal stenosis. I want to buy some exercise DVd's to help to tone my body again, but not sure which ones are best to buy with my back problem. Can you help me with this ? Thanks...Kathy
