When the cleaning stone breaks down does it become a powder or is it gritty? I am concerned about it clogging my drains.

It's fine and powdery so it shouldn't clog your drains.

I am excited about having something to clean my bath & tile without cleaning solutions (even natural cleaners are a bit irritating to my skin), however I am concerned that it might scratch the surfaces, making them even harder to keep clean. Thank you for your help.

Answer:
It shouldn't scratch your tile or porcelain I haven't tried it personally but merchandising said they used it on their tile counter tops with great success. If your worried I would test it in a small inconspicuous spot just to make sure.
