Rated 5 out of 5 Decreased neck and back aches Love this balance ball chair. Really reminds me of my sitting posture and improves spinal allignment. October 18, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must Have We decided to replace the home computer desk chair with the balance ball. Now we wonder why we waited so long. This is a must have to improve posture and it doubles as an exercise tool. Great for those with space constraints, like us! Give it a try. You cannot go wrong. It has been great for my lower back. With the caster feet, I often use the chair to practice classical guitar. Not sure if that is recommended but works for me by forcing me to keep proper posture. Keep in mind that it may take some getting used to, depending on your current posture and back/stomach muscle tone. But don't give up. Your body will thank you in the long run. October 18, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by pump it up again I have a stiff lower back, so I thought I would try this chair first before having to buy a desk chair that costs over 500 dollars...while I thought that the ball chair was comfortable, I was disappointed that it was too low for my desk/computer screen, so I called the company to see if I could use a larger ball and they were helpful to tell me to pump the ball up more. They were right! it was underinflated (I even thought, gee it doesn't look taught or smooth when I initially pumped it up) and now the height is perfect and the ball fills out to the back of the chair fully. First pump it up and use it a day or so so it stretches into shape and then pump it up again with a bicycle pump and a friend to help hold the seal tight or maybe use tape to secure it...so it is nice and round and smooth. enjoy! I'm hoping that after I use it more, I will increase the rating to 5 stars, but for right now it is a good 4 star product and value. The chair is easy to assemble and the pumping up was easy by myself the first time and also the second time with my hubby helping me, otherwise it may be a little more frustrating and time consuming but not overly so. Rated 3 out of 5 by It's alright When I first read about it, I was very excited. When I got it and used it for a few weeks, I was less excited. I ended up switching back to my old desk chair. I personally need the back of the chair to be closer to the middle of the ball so that I can sit up straight without having to hold myself up, when I get tired of 'holding myself up.' The concept of the chair is great. This is for someone that knows that they will never get tired of sitting erect all the time. But for those who want to sit back sometimes, this is not the chair for you. September 12, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better Once it's Well-Inflated! When I got this chair, I didn't inflate the ball enough, and I wanted to return it. After my husband inflated it correctly, I am seriously considering buying another for my office at work. It's really comfortable and I can feel my core working. And I'm short, and it still works well. September 11, 2009
