The ball alone will measure between 48cm and 52cm depending on the amount of air.

For optimal performance, it may be necessary to re-inflate your new Balance Ball once or twice after the initial inflation. Once your chair is assembled and the Balance Ball is inflated, re-check the ball size the next day. If necessary, add additional air and check once more the following day. Your new Balance Ball may need a day or two to "stretch" to its final size (which should then fit perfectly in the base).

If you need other replacement parts for your Balance Ball Chair, please email customer service at customerservice@gaiam.com Ships via Fed Ex Ground. Express Delivery not available.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I hoped for I am sadly disappointed in this chair. I was excited about using it and will give it a bit more time to adjust, but my initial reaction is disappointed. I do not see how this can accommodate up to someone who is 5'11". I am 5'8" and think it is much too short. My knees feel like they are at my chin, making it uncomfortable. I can see how it would help my back, but I don't know if I can tolerate the 'lowness' enough. The ball is fully inflated. Overall, sad. September 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the chair, cheap air pump I just received my chair and I love the chair but the air pump is really cheap. I went to add a little air to the ball and the pump already broke. Not sure what went wrong but it won't inflate the ball any more. August 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Back Relief and Ab Workout The chair needed a week of  increased air volume.  I have no problem with the leg locks.   The plastic structure is very sturdy and secure.  The back rest is really a handle for the workout.  I get significant low back relief on this ball chair especially after time in the "decliner".   My upper back is getting stronger and the burn is reducing. It is great right now at a card table, or just watching the tube.  I'm not working so I don't spend many hours plugged into the chair at the computer.   Just sitting on it makes me sit up straight ( I need that) and strengthen Abs is always good. Be clear on what your need is and add more air until it is firm. Namaste August 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect! I love this chair! Easy to put together - spend time to make sure that the ball is fully inflated and you are good to go.  This is a great chair! August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for my sciatica I find the ball chair to be super comfortable and it provides relief to my sciatica pain down one leg, probably because there are no seat edges, just a soft curve. I'm 5'6" and chair height was fine with a 30" high desk, surprisingly, I don't miss having arm rests. I'd give 5 stars but after only 2 months, I have to buy a new ball because the original keeps going flat from an undetectable air leak. June 27, 2013
