Rated 5 out of 5 by Good purchase I purchased my Balance Ball Chair after seeing and trying a co-worker's chair. I didn't order right away because it doesn't adjust in height, but realized the ball will inflate to heighten the body and I love mine. I sit for many hours at a time and I do feel active while sitting, oddly enough. Nice looking too. March 8, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by I had high hopes I thought getting this chair would solve my sitting for a long time woes, but it just made my butt hurt. I tried letting more air out, I sat on it for a week but it really made my sit bones hurt. My back and core were fine, just where I sat on the chair hurt. Also, sometimes I wear a bit of a heel to work and I think you need to wear flats all the time to keep the proper alignment. I'm pretty bummed that I will be returning it. March 8, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Definitely worth it! I had been eyeballing this chair for quite some time, so when it was on sale and I found a coupon code for $0.99 shipping, I was sold! I ordered the sage green ball and it is true to color. I am 5'10" and the chair fits me just fine. I find that I can definitely feel my core working as I go throughout my day in the office. (I generally spend about 8 hours sitting at a computer, hence why I wanted this chair.) I don't feel like I get "flat butt" syndrome anymore like I did with my regular office chair and I have more energy as the day goes on. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. It is important to note, the manual suggests the back support bar is not to be used as a back rest, only for use in certain ball exercises for stability. (*Gratuitous picture of my dog and yoga ball included*) :-) March 7, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great so far! There are a lot of things I love about this chair. Firstly, I love its small profile. It barely takes up any space, which is great when your "office" is also your living room. I had never sat on a balance ball before, so I was a little timid about popping it even though I'm way under the weight limit, but it has been totally fine. I also like that the balance ball can be removed and used separately. When sitting on it for longer than a few minutes, I definitely feel my back muscles starting to work! The reason I gave it 3 stars for quality is because the plastic does seem kind of cheap. I don't feel like the chair will break though. As an aside, I didn't realize the wheel locks were engaged for the first few weeks I had it, so I thought it didn't roll on my carpet very well. After changing that, the chair moved much better. I'm not sure why I just assumed they'd be unlocked. March 5, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Healthy alternative I recently had a fall on my tailbone and it was very painful just to sit down. Having to keep working, I purchased a ball chair and found it not only was pain free to sit, but was a fun and healthy way of rethinking how I sit in front of my desk. I love the ball chair and highly recommend it to anyone who sits at a desk for their daily work routine. March 4, 2010
