For optimal performance, it may be necessary to re-inflate your new Balance Ball once or twice after the initial inflation. Once your chair is assembled and the Balance Ball is inflated, re-check the ball size the next day. If necessary, add additional air and check once more the following day. Your new Balance Ball may need a day or two to "stretch" to its final size (which should then fit perfectly in the base).

If you need other replacement parts for your Balance Ball Chair, please email customer service at customerservice@gaiam.com Size: 52cm (20.5")

Made from vinyl, no latex content.

Rated 2 out of 5 by I miss my chair and my ball I purchased this ball to replace the one I had for my classic chair, but it is way too small.  When I called customer service, they said sorry and then sent me the exact same ball  and same size (still is too small) and didn't include a stopper.  Not sure how this will help me. I am currently using the chair, but my knees  hurt when i use it.  I am considering purchasing the newer version of the chair because I really miss the old style and ball.   January 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this chair but . . . . I love this chair and no longer can sit in a regular chair at work without my back hurting me. My only negative comments would be that the little knob for the brakes constantly get stuck on and the ball doesn't move as well and I am constantly taking the brakes off. Also, my ball suddenly got a hole in it and I tried ordering a replacement ball on Amazon (Gaiam ball# and it is 52 cm and when I put air in the ball #and I inflated it all the way), the ball is a lot smaller than the original ball that came with the chair and I cannot even sit on it as I feel like I am on the floor. Is there a bigger ball that fits the armless chair? Otherwise, I would HIGHLY recommend this chair to anyone. If anyone knows how to keep the brakes from always going on, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.. October 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Good purchase Bought the chair with a ball three years ago, which I love it. Good for posture and core muscles. The ball that came with chair started leaking air so I purchase this one to replace it. It is better quality that the first ball and seems to be firmer. Good chair that has help my back aches from sitting. July 2, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by wishy washy I have a bad back, and I had high hopes of this chair working. It did not bother my back, but it did bother my bottom. I am not sure if I had it inflated too tight, or if I just need to get used to it. I did let air out of the ball a couple different times, and that did seem to help. I now switch back and forth with another chair to allow myself time to adjust. The back of the chair is obviously not meant to use as a leaning post. The chair is very light. The ball has a slight texture to it, which is different from ordinary balance balls, kind of a grippy surface. Probably so you don't fall off on your bottom. I can see where that would be an advantage when using the balance ball for exercise. December 28, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this chair! This chair has really helped with my back and neck problems. I bought a dining chair cover to customize it, so it matches my decor. Highly recommend! December 23, 2009
