Rated 4 out of 5 by Beginning Yoga for the Already Flexible I purchased this DVD as a beginner to yoga. The instructor's directions are clear and helpful. The feature that allows you to receive more instruction with the poses is a great help for this beginner. Nicki Doane uses a very monotone voice throughout the series of poses, which I find irritating instead of relaxing. Also, the sun salutation poses do require at least a moderate level of flexibility, which I do not yet have. Overall, I do like this DVD and will continue to use it several times a week. I do feel that the poses will get easier with more practice and patience! October 28, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Intro to Ashtanga Wonderful foundation for Ashtanga practice. Even though she only went through sun salutations and some standing poses this is a difficult workout, and is a great building block for the rest of the series. October 4, 2008
