Rated 5 out of 5 by A Great Purchase I bought this foot massager after reading positive reviews on Gaiam for my mother who is 80 and suffers from Raynaud's Syndrome, where her feet and lower legs turn freezing cold from lack of blood flow. The machine heavy - which is good, so it won't move around on the floor - so she needed assistance setting it up. She found a spot where she can leave it out and she uses it for five minutes three times a day, every day, and after two weeks, is noticing more feeling in toes that have felt dead for years. I hope this massager not only improves her circulation, and cuts down her symptoms, but add years to her life! Now, I want one! August 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy Feet I purchased the Accupressure Therapy Massager because my feet are always tired. I am a runner, martial artist, belly dancer and yoga entusiast. Therefore my feet are always bearing the brunt of my activities and are always throbbing by bedtime. I began using the massager the day it arrived for 30 minutes a day. WOW! What a difference. My feet feel rejuvenated and ready for more. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! December 16, 2010

Answer:
The Acupressure Therapy Massager is made with vinyl which will have a little bit of a smell initially. The smell is comparable to the smell of any new electronic device.

Can it help me?

.
Hi I have been experiencing foot numbness in the balls of my feet for some time now. It is located in the area directly correlated with the shoulders. I have trouble with any kind of foot wear, aside from moccasins, or flip flops, or bear foot. Otherwise all other footwear are out, including sneakers. I`ve been to an orthopedic, he made molds and inserts, which failed to make a difference. Shoulder massage and inversions seem to help. Yoga is good, walking, running, standing for long periods are out, toes splay. I massage the nerve damage myself, sometimes have to compress my foot firmly between my hands, usually releasing the neuroma.

Answer:
If massaging your feet will help alleviate your symptoms then yes this should work for relief. We have an excellent return policy so if you try it out for a month and it doesn't work you can always send it back. However you should consult with your physician to make sure the numbness wont be increased by vibration massage.

Hello, I live in an apt bldg with neighbors underneath me. Although floors are carpeted, it's natural that some noise will be heard downstairs, but, I don't want to rattle their nerves. How much noise does this unit make when in use? Thank you!

Answer:
I haven't been able to test out how loud this is between floors but I suspect it's not any worse than a vacuum or washer and dryer being ran. As long as you aren't using this product in the early hours of the morning you should be fine.
